Commencing his career with the Australian Defence Industries Ltd, as a Ships Joiner, Scott McKenzie gained extensive experience in detailed cabinetry and joinery, including time drafting with Naval Architects. Most of this experience was acquired on Australian Naval vessels including submarines. Scott then directed his attention to carpentry and joinery within the domestic housing and renovation market, which quickly lead to the establishment of his own successful building company.

The Company first began trading during July 1997.Over time, S.A.McKenzie Pty Ltd achieved a reputation for outstanding quality within the building industry, encompassing the entire Sydney area.
